A: No. In line with FICA requirements, Ithala does not conclude leases with anonymous applicants or purely through non-face-to-face channels — identity must be verified in person as part of onboarding.
A: Typically a valid identity document (or passport/permit for foreign nationals), proof of residential address, and, for companies, close corporations or trusts, proof of registration. Additional documents may be requested depending on the nature of the premises and the applicant’s risk profile.
A: Complete the Lease Application Form (available for download on this page) and submit it along with the required supporting documents. Prospective tenants go through a due diligence and risk assessment process — including identity verification and, in most cases, a site visit — before a lease is concluded.
